the gods be damnedI HAVE known Godsthe gods be damned
heard their voices
listened to the prognistications of their couriers
I put them aside
I wish them well
Not my job to judge
they may go about their business
they will find no fear in me
if by that I've missed the beginning of wisdom
so be it
I leave them to their own affairs
and concerns
Like Miltons Lucifer I hold fast to my
own freedom though the heavans shall fall upon me
though the weight of the world shall rest on my shoulders &nb

NovemberNovember stalks meNovember
as surely as spring fell upon me months ago
Grey skies
The sun sulks
Stealing minutes after minutes of daylight
as he goes to bed earlier and earlier each day
Cold rain falls like a dagger
chilling me to my bones
Winters wind follows as cold December
hides in the shadows placing himself
innocently in the glow of Thanksgiving's delights
covering himself with promises of candy canes
and Christmas gifts
I know December for what he is
The harbinger

there for youI will be there for you this afternoonthere for you
And when the sun sets
When the day is finished I will be there for you
I will be there for you on the morrow when the sun rises
and a new day begins
I will be there for you when I am old and grey
And when the beauty of youth has left your side
I will be there for you when the winds howl and trees fall
There for you when oceans overflow and the sky stops it's rain
I will be there for you when I am filled with every pleasure imaginable
Or beset by every possible sorrow
Truly appalling
